History: Fifty years ago, the town of Meindal grew exceptionally safe. Powerful adventurers looked after the town, keeping it protected from even the smallest monsters. However, this complacency grew more than safety. Some adventurers took the opportunity to sweep through the weaker monsters, seeing them easy prey for easy profit. Some backstabbed weaker adventurers before they got the chance to be strong for the sake of never having competition.
Little did they know their actions awakened something far, far worse.
Xill does not know her past. All she remembers is awakening with a feeling of overwhelming disgust and vengeance. She rose and marched, sickle in hand, to kill all whom disgusts her. Her power was unlike any the small town had ever seen. She ruthlessly hunted the adventurers, slaying them all and anything that tried to stop her. It did not matter if they were too successful farmers or adventurers, vile or kind. She opposed the stagnation they bred, and her sickle slew whomever promoted it. As soon as the deed was done, every excessive stagnation of power destroyed or fled, she just as suddenly disappeared.
From then on, whenever adventurers grow too strong for the local area and use their great power to their endless advantage, she suddenly returns to mercilessly fight their unchanging formula. The few to survive this assault quickly move on, not risking fighting the monstrosity again. Some believe she is an underling of the Blighted, or a Blighted itself sealed away, who is filled with hatred, a creature of only wrath and death. Her only existence seemed to be to hunt the strongest of Meindal, a believed final curse of the Blighted upon the small village.
In Crimson Dawn Online, many saw her as a mysterious anti-abuse monster. Extremely high levelled, she hunted those who farmed Meindal's monsters too much or started constantly assaulting low-level characters in early PVP areas. Those that gathered to purposefully fight her in case of awesome loot were surely disappointed; All her defeat gives is very little EXP and no items while she respawns to fight them again.
In current day Tellacene, however, things have changed. She has awoken without an overwhelming feeling of disgust for once. A sudden change, drastic and massive echoing throughout the world, has awoken her this time though greatly weakened her as well. As if lifted from a mental haze of hatred and bloodlust Xill finds herself curious of the outside world, now given a chance at a life not compelled to hunt. She seeks to embrace this unusual gift of choice, regardless of the well-deserved fear to citizens of Meindal view her with. Thankfully they do not yet know the extent of her current weakness.

Level: 1
Abilities:
- Racial Ability: Dark Elemental resistance. You treat Dark attacks as one power level lower. (Light becomes Weak, Moderate becomes Light, etc. Weak is completely negated.)
- Racial Drawback: Offputting. You look so much like a monster that NPCs in PVP enabled zones will attack you on sight if you don't have a regional rep of at least 20. (NPCs played by other players not affected... unless they want to be.) This does not include signing up & executing a quest.
- Aura of Death (Strong): [Health withers in the Blighted Death's wake] All enemy healing abilities and items of Strong power level and lower are considered one power level weaker while in Xill's presence. Weak healing items/abilities are nullified.
- Cannot Kill Death: [The Hunt Is Everlasting] Xill, despite being an NPC, reincarnates as if a Player Character.
- Aura of Terror (Moderate): [The Primal Fear of All] By spending an action, Xill emits a wave of fear that terrifies others into inaction. All creatures, enemy and ally, take one less action for a round. This is a Moderate level fear and mind-affecting effect, though not a mind control effect.
- Aura of Change (Moderate): [Every Tide Turns] By spending an action, Xill reverses the effects of all current buffs and debuffs of Moderate power level and lower. This is based off the power level of the debuff/buff effect. For example, a Strong potion would be immune but a Moderate potion that increases an attack to Strong would be affected, turning it into a Light attack instead.
- Blindsight (Light): [Justice is Blind, but Death is All-Seeing] Xill can sense her surroundings in a supernatural way. Non-mind affecting illusions, and mind-affecting abilities of Light power level and lower, do not affect her. Furthermore, she can bypass Stealth abilities of Light power level and lower.
Curses: Much of Xill's equipment is cursed. Here is the most common curses, to avoid unnecessary repetition.
- Bound - This item is cursed to be bonded to Xill forever. She cannot give it to another person, nor can it be taken from her. It disappears on death, only to reappear on respawn on her person. It cannot be enchanted by another being or transmogrified.
Equipped Items:
- Grim Sickle (Strong) (Cursed - Bound): [Death's Sickle cleaves all souls, regardless of expensive accessories] Deals Strong Physical or Strong Dark damage, chosen when attacking. By lowering the damage to Moderate, the wielder can ignore one source of defence of Strong or lower power level, be it a Strong-level item, personal ability, or buff.
- Unhallowed Armour (Moderate) (Cursed - Bound): [The bloody armour of the Blighted befouls even the holiest of lights] Provides Moderate Physical and Light Magic protection. Once per combat can convert a Bright attack against the wearer to Dark.
- Envious Skull (Light) (Cursed - Bound): [This skull stares hungrily at the Lifeforce of others] A skull used as a helmet. When wore, allows the user to see the health and status conditions of beings. Bypasses attempts to hide Health and Status of Light power level and lower.
