> WELCOME, TRAVELLER!
Mostly anyone who has ever played Crimson Dawn Online has met Osyris, though odds are you don't remember much about him. In fact, you've probably button-mashed furiously trying to skip through his irritatingly long dialogue prompts. In FACT, there is a devoted subforum on the internet out-of-game dedicated to copying and pasting frustratingly long blocks of text--the constitution, old memes, the entire script of Bee Movie--into blank templates of Osyris trying to offer in-game assistance. They're kind of funny.
When he isn't trying to ease new players into the immersive culture of Crimson Dawn Online, he can be found studying in the Church of the Light where, if found, he will launch into a lengthy musing on the history and significance of Hicaun Eveningstar.
Description: A tall (about 5'11") fellow with bronze skin, pointed ears, blank white eyes, and elegant obsidian horns. The incisors in his friendly smile come to a delicate point and demeanor tends to be amicable, if occasionally a bit condescending.

HEY, LISTEN!: Owing to his massive and extremely helpful encyclopedic knowledge of Tellacene and its peoples, Osyris can intuitively deduce a character's strengths and weaknesses. This ability does not extend to armor and equipment, only to innate abilities and qualities.

Equipped Items:
- Signet of the Martyr - Osyris wears a ring on his left hand with a small cameo of Hicaun Eveningstar. Presumably he feels a certain sort of way about peace-loving Tieflings with church affiliations.
- Glimmer Cloak - An ivory traveller's cloak woven with a material that seems to always glow softly, giving off a weak light. [WEAK]
- Tunic of Necessity - Everyone needs a shirt in this beloved immersive and age-appropriate online experience, and this is his! Galvanized for physical protection against pesky players with ill will toward NPCs.
- Boots of the Academician - At first glance, these appear to be plain brown boots. However, the wearer can tell you these are actually brown boots with AMAZING arch support.
- The Best Defense - A brown leather bullwhip that thankfully spends most of its time curled harmlessly at your side. But you DO know how to use it. [LIGHT]
Backpack (Up to 10 Items):
- Healing Potion - A basic healing potion. Smells like...citrus? [LIGHT]
- Custom Healing Potion - A healing potion with Osyris's name on the bottle. Prescription potions are a thing now, I guess. [LIGHT]
- Horn Polish - You're not ashamed of your racial heritage.
- Pristine Text - A doctrine written in Celestial having to do with the nature of ethics and the duty of morality.
- Battered Tome - A well-worn Blighted book of a....decidedly unacademic nature. Some of the cover is torn away. Good heavens, there are CHILDREN in this game.
- Canteen - Explaining game mechanics all day is thirsty work.
Banked Items (Unlimited):
- Celestial Fluency Dictionary - A dictionary that grants Celestial Fluency.
