Abilities:
Racial Ability (Passive) -
Elemental Resistance (Fire). Select 1 element type at character creation. You treat attacks from that element source as one power level lower.
Tieflings are largely mistrusted by NPCs. You start with -10 reputation in every zone and can only cap at 90 reputation as opposed to 100.
Class Ability (Passive) -
Gear Up! The first blow you strike with your weapon in a combat deals one power level higher than normal.
Torch -
Shrouds active weapon in a thin blanket of controlled flame.
This flame has no offensive capability but passively lights up and illuminates an area around the weapon the size of a small room. Combat cancels this effect.
Quickdraw (Passive) -
Look at those hands move!
Equipped and backpack weapons can be exchanged in a turn of combat without penalty or loss.
Blaze Kick - (Light)
Unarmed strikes that glower like embers with fiery energy.
Only usable if no active weapon or otherwise disarmed. Treated like a weapon attack for the purpose of activating effects. Lasts until combat ends or a weapon is wielded.
Rope Burn - (Light)
A quick slash of the weapon that does not contact skin but leaves a furiously burning trail where the air heated and disturbed by the swing touches.
Treated as a weapon attack of weapon power level minus one. Cannot be dodged. Wounds inflicted by Rope Burn are capped at Light damage.
Backdraft (Passive) - (Moderate)
The wounds and bruises left by weapon strikes percolate nastily, glowering like a dull iron being heated and then suddenly flaring up.
The combat round after a combat round with a successful weapon attack Backdraft activates. Deals one wound, one power level lower than the weapon used for the attack in the previous round. This counts as a separate attack from other attacks in that combat round.
Coal Fury - (Moderate)
Leaves a particularly nasty looking, cartoonishly scarred, bubbling and burning wound upon an enemy.
Once per combat a weapon attack may be declared. If this attack is successful a debuff is applied to the enemy called Coal Seam. While Coal Seam debuff is active all future damage caused also deals additional damage, one wound of one power level lower than the damage dealt. Coal Seam lasts three turns of combat.

Equipped Items:
Sunglasses -
Cat-eye, reddish-tint, slightly oversized.
Provides Weak Bright elemental resistance.
Silver Pendant Necklace (4g) -
A rough-hewn circular pendant on which is carved a triangle.
Traveler's Breeches -
Literally shorts, just shy of the knee, slightly poofy.
Guy Fieri Armor - (Light)
A slightly oversized, poorly fit shirt with tacky flames running from the waistline up.
Only provides Weak defense power level. Successful attacks deal an additional Light Fire wound as part of their damage calculations.
Edge of Lord - (Moderate)
A ridiculously dark, heavy, and death-y looking sword. Spikes drip off the handle and the aura of black metal is so thick it's actually slightly difficult to see through. Occasionally as it's swung the blade is particularly... edgy...
Once per combat, does two Light wounds of additional Dark elemental damage on a successful strike.
Star Badge - (Strong)
A laminated, blank badge strung from a red lanyard. Long enough to drape over the stomach area. When you look at the badge itself sometimes the phantom of a famous name appears on it, for a vanishing second.
Provides For The Camera buff (Player Permission if somehow forced onto another player character) that increases recklessness in combat and creates the vague auditory hallucination of applause whenever something cool happens. While the buff is active the recipient is now also vaguely aware of enemy mortality and energy levels. Once per combat if a successful attack without modifiers would do enough wound damage (Player Permission if PvP) to finish an enemy off it becomes undodgeable and unaffected by defense levels.

Backpack:
Phoenix Quills - (Light)
A pair of finger-thin and razor sharp, brilliantly glowing daggers.
Deals four Weak wounds worth of Fire damage instead of one Light wound.
Beach Ball -
Classic beach ball with bright and warm color scheme. Healthy amount of bounce, but about as easy to destroy as any other beach ball.
Traveler's Cloak -
Warm, cozy, but quite plain with an earthy color. Hooded cloak, complete with a simple shirt. Just in case one wants to avoid looking like an idiot from time to time.
Two-Piece Swimsuit -
A bold, lipstick shade of red. About as modest as a two-piece can be.
Honey Sriracha (x5) -
Golden chili that glistens with the perfect amount of oil. A bit sweet, mostly tangy.
If added to another food item (cannot be eaten by itself, it's way too rich undiluted) honey it heals one Light wound when consumed, and confers Weak Ice resistance for the remainder of the thread. Cannot be consumed in combat.
Blacksmith's Hammer -
Sturdy, warped wood handle.
Used in weapon and armorsmithing, along with the tools found in a proper forge such as anvil and smelter. Can forge items up to Strong level, beyond that the hammer is prone to shattering if used.
Whisper Flux (x5) - (Moderate)
This powder softly glows, and seems to be haunted with a willowy, breeze like whisper that softly brushes against the ears of those who look at it.
Rare crafting ingredient used in Weaponsmithing, Armorsmithing, Jewelcrafting, and Alchemy. Tends to impart Sonic qualities into recipes it is involved in.

Banked Items:
Old Guild Tabard -
Emblazoned with the gentle, shadowy sigil of a cat's eye whose eyelashes resemble the greenage of a palm tree.
The symbol of a former max level guild prior to the incident.
Shitty Broken Chainsaw -
A rusty chainsaw.
Actually, you don't even remember what this is supposed to mean or imply.
Goblin Dragon Gun (60g) -
This extremely crude looking firearm is shaped to look like a dragon. It doesn't fire a projectile but it does spew fire.
Unfortunately, it's not very strong, and only does Weak Fire damage.
Farmer's Shovel (75g) -
It's mostly useful as, you know, a shovel. But you can whack someone for Weak damage with it.
Pauldrons of Wild Magic (600g) - (Moderate)
You're able to boost one ability per turn up to Moderate strength, but you risk unleashing a torrent of wild and unpredictable magic if you do. 35% chance to cause wild magic (mod rolls the % in the server. Mod discretion on what the result is--cancels attack and causes something else to happen.)
