Known To Enjoy
- Fluff. Daily adventures without much in the way of plot relevance, day-to-day life. I like fleshing out my character in their mundane life as much as during the intense plot scenes! I'm actually the sort of RPer who often times plot contrivances and occurences carefully. I love thick and heavy and dramatic plots and dramas, of course, but the timing for that sort of thing is important! The petty and the irreverent, for me, is the meat of any good story.
- Not involved with too much at once. I won't be running too many characters and I won't be trying to throw my characters into too many things at once! I only really have two characters in mind for this RP... I don't RP too much nowadays and I'm more active and involved in other RP communities. I am very judicious about posting at least once a day, but I cannot promise anything more on a regular basis. Chances are I will be floating around adjunct to plots as opposed to being majorly involved in the ones that shape the site, and I'm definitely okay with that! Brings up my next point, actually...
- Background Piece. I don't mind being the damsel in distress, or the person taken out of a fight scene early, or the person watching stuff happen on the sidelines. It's easier for me in some ways, to be more present in a thread for the banter than for the big dramatic moving plotline. If you don't like that sort of side piece character please exclude me from your major threads, of course. But if you do want a Statler and Waldorf type to be busily fighting NPCs in the background while real stuff happens in the foreground, by all means ask! I'm used to skipping my own posts when asked by others, don't hesitate to call on me for that.
- Slow-burn and realistic romance. The banter and awkward moments between people falling for each other are better than the actual romance parts, to be honest. Growing together is the optimal path! So hit me up with this sort of thing, kindly!
- I do like a good fight scene. Even if, especially if for low-to-no stakes. Lovingly detailed fights and interesting strategies are ace. Mechanics involved, yes, more freeform fighting, also yes.
- Worldbuilding. The reason I chose to come back to these RPs in the first place is because I love the setting and the concept and I'd like to watch it grow and develop. I try to integrate my characters with as much of the setting as I can. I will be making at least token efforts at doing some detailing of my own on the more minor aspects of the lore with my planned characters, so if that's up anyone else's alley I'd love to collaborate!
- I don't really have limits. Not too much bothers me. Obviously I will respect your limits, but if you're particularly interested in something a bit out of the ordinary, something dark or macabre or whatever? By all means. I'll probably gladly go along with it. Kill my character for your own character's plot? Long multi-thread arc literally involving only our characters? Sure. Throw whatever you've got at me.
