Name: Richard Ores
Character Name: Takinu Gilde
Username: nuggetOfWisdom
Race: Kitsune
Class: Monk
Role: Tank
Profession: Tattoo Artist
Languages:
Kitsune - Fluent
Human Language - Fluent
Level: 1
Abilities:
Equipped Items:
Robe of the Golden Tree (Moderate) – a robe of golden leaves stitched into actual functioning armour. Gives Moderate Magic defence and Light Physical defence.
Tattoo of the Hungry Ghost (Light) – A magical tattoo of a ghost. As a free action during an unarmed attack Richard can heal either one Light wound or the unarmed attack's damage, whichever is less. 2 turn cooldown.
Limbs of Gold (Moderate) – Richard's fists and feet are tattooed with gold and magic in flowing, mystical symbols. His unarmed attacks deal Moderate Physical and Moderate Metal damage.
Backpack (Up to 10 Items):
1) Ruby the Carbuncle (Pet) – A cute, green furred fox-like creature with a giant red gemstone on its forehead.
Well looked after. Richard hopes he can train it to sniff out treasure.
2) Great Gem of Strength (Mount) – a giant, clear, brilliant green gemstone the height of a person with a round brilliant cut. It can float a bit above the ground, but cannot fly, and can carry two people and their equipment on top of itself with ease. Though actually a sealed elemental and very much sentient, it seems to reluctantly follow its greedy owner's wishes since its better than being stuck in a dragon horde. Can shrink into a fist-sized gem identical to its other form bar size when not used as a mount.
Nicknamed 'Servant Emerald' by Richard.
3) 2x Light Health Potion – Cures Light wound when drunk.
4) Kitsune Disguise Belt – A belt which makes a Kitsune's tails disappear and transforms their ears into human ears when worn. Does the opposite to a non-Kitsune, making them grow a random number of tails and fox ears instead of their regular ears. This is a Transmutation effect, not an Illusion.
Banked Items (Unlimited):
-Takinu Statue: A small golden statue of yourself. It's so heavy that it takes up two backpack slots when carried.
Personality: While Monks are meant to be wise figures seeking enlightenment, Richard is far from this. Prior to being sucked into the game, he was a person seeking to exploit item sales to make maximum profit. Motivated by money, he was surprisingly successful at guessing the way the item market will go. To him being rich is the ultimate dream, a life of pure luxury, even if he lost a few friends for it. Rude and obnoxious in actuality, he is a surprisingly good liar who often dodges his way out of serious trouble. A Kitsune Monk was the perfect class to suit him as he tricks and finesses his way into wealth.
When first transported to CDO on a routine log-in, Richard was initially shocked. Then, ecstatic. Think of all the wealth he could have! Piles of gold! All the amazing cool items, the rarest loot, the magical artefacts! More determined to be incredibly wealthy now magic was involved, he happily headed off to play the first suckers he came across.
Appearance: Takinu is a three tailed Kitsune with long black hair, pale skin and golden eyes. 5'8” tall, he is lean and built for acrobatics. He often curls his tails around each other to make them difficult to count when in regular humanoid kitsune form, though often disguises his appearance. When in fox form, his fur matches his hair colour instead of the usual red, and his eyes are still golden.

Abilities:
- Racial Ability: Can transform into literally anything that isn't gamebreaking (mod discretion). Of course, they do not gain powers associated to what they're transforming into because it's only an illusion. (Moderate)
- Racial Drawback: Because they are lighter on their feet, they are physically more frail. All attacks against a kitsune will be treated a level higher (ie: weak becomes light, light becomes moderate). Caps at Strong.
- Class Perk: Swift River! 1 extra dodge per combat. Stacks with racial and powered abilities.
- Blur (Moderate): Your racial mastery of illusions clouds your form, making attacks difficult to land. By spending an action, all attacks have a 20% miss chance for three rounds. This is a Moderate-level Illusion ability.
- Me, Myself and I (Strong): Richard creates two duplicates of himself which are dispelled after Strong damage or at Richard's command. These duplicates have the abilities and items of himself, though all items dropped by a duplicate disappear when the duplicate does. If one body uses a single-use or limited use item, that use is applied to all instances of that item on his bodies. Richard can still only use three actions total, though these actions can come from any of the three bodies. He can only have two duplicates at any time.
- Glamour (Moderate): Richard can spread his illusions over a close area instead of just himself. This can range from changing the appearance of items on his person, a fake wall, or disguising another person's appearance. Richard must be close to these illusions, with them dismissing if he moves far enough away from them.
Using this ability requires focus, lowering his number of actions by one if used in combat. - Darkvision: Richard can see in darkness in great detail, though only in black and white.
