Water & Fire Resistance: You treat Water and Fire-based attacks as one power level lower. (Light becomes Weak, Moderate becomes Light, etc. Weak is completely negated.)
Drawback 1: Lightning Vulnerability Creatures and players that deal Lightning damage do stronger damage against you. Take Lightning attacks as if they were one power level higher, capping at Strong. (Weak is Light, Light is Moderate, etc.)
Drawback 2: Fiery Incompetence Any items an Undine uses that have a Fire Element effect are treated as one power level lower, and an Undine cannot have any Fire Element abilities that exceed Moderate.

The Ties that Bind: (Strong) Ketrix can select up to two targets and conjure up a length of chain made of golden interlinked hearts, binding them together. This inhibits movement, dropping both targets' number of actions per round by one as long as they remain entangled. In addition, the targets are forced to move together by the chain: if one target uses a dodge, the other is forced to dodge as well, if one moves into melee range to attack, the other must follow, though they can choose to do something other than attack.
If a single target is so bound, they lose one action per round as well as one dodge. Once they get out of the chain, they regain their dodge.
The chain lasts 3 rounds and can be broken with a Strong attack. Otherwise, a tangled person can escape if they spend all their actions in one round untangling themselves.
Lovestruck: (Moderate, WPP) Ketrix selects a target and fills them with an overwhelming sense of love. Targets affected by this ability are in a state of euphoria and are unable to take violent actions for 2 rounds. They are capable of taking other actions, but what they choose to do is affected by the loving emotions filling them. Being attacked, injured, or seeing one of their allies being attacked breaks the effect.
Lovestruck is a magical effect of the Psychic element.
Date Night: (Light) Ketrix can alter a room's appearance to give it a cozy, romantic air, tailored to whatever specifications are requested. This is an illusion effect that includes visual, auditory, and tactile effects.Love Note: (N/A) Ketrix can send a letter to any character on behalf of herself or another. The letter must be crafted by her (via Paper Arts) and once created, she can teleport it directly to the recipient, where it will appear in their backpack. If their pack is full, it instead appears on the ground at their feet.

1. Frozen Pearl Hairpin - (Light) This hairpin is topped with a heart-shaped pearl and is actually a small, concealable wand. It deals Light Water and Ice damage, or Weak physical damage if you stab someone with it. (She's an Event NPC. She's lucky it can do THAT much)
2. Ketrix's Gown of Beauty - (Moderate) This appears to be a custom version of a [smear:#b80808]Festival of Love[/smear:#ffb3b3:1] "Gown of Beauty." Its colour can be changed at will, and has a fitted bodice, long, sheer sleeves, a low, heart-shaped neckline, and a long skirt. Where the basic gown has a hearts circling the hem, the hearts on Ketrix's gown seem to be made by a pattern of tentacles flowing down the skirt and curving into a heart shape at the bottom. Some of the tentacles can be animated at will, giving Ketrix a total of four extra appendages with which to hold things. The tentacles cannot wield weapons or attack, though they may hold defensive items, such as a shield.
The gown provides Weak defense against physical damage and Moderate defense against mind-affecting abilities and items.
3. Necklace of Breath - (N/A) This necklace features a twisted seashell hanging from a gold chain. It allows the wearer to breathe underwater.Backpack
1. Flower Shower - (Weak) [smear:#b80808]Festival of Love[/smear:#ffb3b3:1] item. The holder of this lace parasol can change its colour at will. Aside from its normal use, it can also be used as a wand to target a person with the harmless illusion of a gentle shower of flower petals falling around them for three rounds.
2. Lover's Locket x10 - (N/A) [smear:#b80808]Festival of Love[/smear:#ffb3b3:1] item. These lockets are only useful in pairs. When worn by two people, they can share brief messages (up to 20 words) with one another. The first wearer opens their locket and whispers the message, causing the locket worn by the other to grow warm. When they open their locket, the message is whispered into their ear. If the first person whispers a new message before the first one is heard, the second message replaces the first.

4. The ListTM - Every person Ketrix meets is automatically added to this list, including any and all information she learns about them that would be useful in setting up a match.
5. The ChartTM - It's a shipping 'chart' that's more of a personal database in book form. She takes matchmaking VERY SERIOUSLY.
6. Deus Ex Whatchmacallit - This one use item activates by will so long as it's in your pack during combat. Grants you one extra dodge.

Character Appearance: Ketrix is short (about 5'4") and heavy-set, with muscles strong from swimming hidden under a comfortable layer of pudge. She's a big fan of skirts and dresses, especially long, flowy styles that remind her of rippling water when she moves. PCs are used to seeing her in pink, given the events she was tied to, but she really prefers sea green, with pink and purple tying for a close second. Whatever she wears, it's always accompanied by a good deal of jewelry. She loves gold, pearls, and abalone in particular.
Her skin is dark, which makes her pale, bluish-lavender eyes all the more noticeable, and her ears have fins that are a darker shade of purple. Her hands and feet have webbing in the same colour, and scales in a darker shade cover the backs of her forearms and her shins. Her deep blue-purple hair is thick and coarse and worn long, often with some sort of hair clip or other accessory.
Personality: Perky, cheerful, and optimistic to a fault. Ketrix doesn't often have to try to convince herself that things will work out - she genuinely believes it. When things don't work out, she tries to at least find a silver lining. She's social and bubbly, and likes to make people feel happy and welcome, and is often at a loss when someone responds to her good cheer with hostility or pessimism. She's a bit immature, though she does have her moments.
As expected of a [smear:#b80808]Festival of Love[/smear:#ffb3b3:1] NPC, she's a sucker for a good romantic story, whether in "real life" or in fiction, and loves matching people up and arranging get-togethers, though she's kind of oblivious when someone hits on her.
Meta: Ketrix was an event NPC seen only for about a week during the yearly [smear:#b80808]Festival of Love[/smear:#ffb3b3:1] event. Players would grind for event tokens and trade them to her in exchange for festival-exclusive items. As an event NPC, she had no lore and was immune to all damage and player abilities. Needless to say, this is no longer the case.
