Precognition: (Strong Magic, non-combat) The Oracle is capable of seeing the future (or a set of possible futures). He can deliberately seek this information for his own purposes or at the behest of another, though he does occasionally receive visions about major events spontaneously (i.e. when staff needs to throw a seer some info out of the blue). Predictions regarding other people's characters are limited to what the player wants to reveal.
The strength of this power combined with his reduced level has resulted in a certain amount of overflow. On the plus side, it lets him know what's happening around him at an accelerated rate, but on the other hand, it's proving to be something of a distraction as the present and future overlay each other before his eyes. Actively concentrating on blocking his precognition or using one of his other precognitive abilities allows him to view the present unhindered, while blocking his physical sight allows him to more easily differentiate between the two.
Defensive Precognition: (Moderate Magic) Self only, cannot be used in tandem with Offensive Precognition. This ability grants one extra dodge and raises physical and magical defenses by one level, capping at Moderate. Three round duration, dismissable at will, three round cooldown beginning when the effect ends.
Offensive Precognition: (Moderate Magic) Self only, cannot be used in tandem with Defensive Precognition. This ability grants one extra action per round and raises the strength of attacks by one level, capping at Moderate. Three round duration, dismissable at will, three round cooldown beginning when the effect ends.
Out of Time: (Light Magic) With a successful attack, The Oracle may send a target outside the normal flow of time for one round. They can't be detected by any means, and can neither affect nor be affected by anything in the present. The round spend out of time doesn't count against the duration of any effects on the target, however, any effects they were actively maintaining are ended. Usable once per round, may affect a character only once per combat.
Time Sight: (Light Magic) The Oracle may peer through the mists of time to see things as they truly are. This ability can counter normal and magical darkness, invisibility, magical transformations, concealment, and illusions, but cannot see through solid objects or mundane disguises or concealment.
Threefold Aspect: (Light) The Oracle may transform himself into into one of three idealized age categories: young adult, adult, and elder. This is primarily a non-combat ability, but does have some combat applications:
As a young adult, he gains one dodge but his magical abilities reduce by one tier. As an adult, he deals additional Light physical damage with physical attacks. As an elder, his physical damage decreases by one tier, but he deals additional Light Plasma damage with magical attacks. As these forms are part of his true self, illusion-piercing magic still sees the current aspect, but overlaid with his current age.

Ravages of Time: (Light) This ability causes the rapid breakdown of cells and deterioration of unattended objects, dealing Light Nature damage the first round, and Weak DoT for three rounds afterward.

Equipped Items
1. Seer's Staff - (Moderate) - This crystaline staff is topped with a sphere which cycles through the birth and death of stars and galaxies if you stare into it. It deals Moderate Plasma, Nature, and Space damage as a ranged attack, and Moderate Physical damage in melee.
2. Robes of the Seer - (Strong) These elaborate robes are a deep, bluish black trimmed with silver. The skirt appears to be shot through with silver threads that occasionally catch the light, but if one looks closely, you can see a subtle spiderweb pattern woven in, and a silver hourglass on the back. The robes provide Strong magical defense and Light physical defense.
3. Crown of Swords - (Moderate) - This steel crown is comprised of circle of small swords. When worn with the swords pointing upward, it dampens the wearer's emotions with regards to decision-making, allowing them to make fair, unbiased judgements, but still with the capacity for compassion. When worn with the swords pointing downward, it snuffs out the wearer's emotions entirely and they base every move and decision on pure logic with no care or concern as for who it might hurt.
Backpack
1. Case of Sending - This item is attuned to a specific Courier Satchel. The holders of the satchel and attuned container may send items such as letters, documents, books, and scrolls between them instantly. It cannot receive anything that does not naturally fit inside - this ain't a bag of holding, yo - and is able to accommodate a sheaf of paper about three inches thick. This item's attuned satchel is in the possession of Eugenie Crawford.
2. Not-so-Blank Journal - This is absolutely none of your business.
3. Quill pen & Ink - self-explanatory
4. Endless Mug of Coffee - He can stop any time he wants.

Character Appearance: Crawford cuts a tall, trim figure in his semi-formal clothing. He exercises his body and mind equally, knowing that he can’t always rely on one or the other, and so has acquired a good amount of lean muscle over the years. He has fair skin and short black hair that’s usually brushed straight back with spidery bangs parted to frame a widow’s peak. His eyes are the most obvious sign of his blended heritage - they possess a shifting gradient of purple that tint even his pupils and often cast of 'sparks' of his power.
He also wears glasses. Though his vision isn’t terribly impeded without them, he does have trouble making out distant objects. His clothing is always of fine cut and material and he never dresses casually—his dress would be welcome at any high-end establishment.
Personality: A serious-minded man with a strong work ethic, Crawford tends to give off the impression that he’s serious and businesslike at best, cold and unfeeling at worst. In a way, he is. He much prefers logic and order to going on emotion, and is a relatively calm man by nature. He can be charming flirt when he wishes and though serious, he does know how to relax and enjoy himself from time to time. He possesses a greater depth of emotion than he’s often willing to show, and rarely lets his guard down around more than one person at a time.
He is ambitious, but it’s tempered with patience. He plays the long game and is content to wait years for a plan to reach fruition, and he always has a backup. People are unpredictable creatures and one must be always ready to adapt to the new playing field. Now that he's not locked into an endless series of repeating quests, that ambition may let him change the field to his own advantage.
Meta: Known in the game by the designation "The Oracle," Crawford was a key progression point in a few large quest lines, usually for information or exposition purposes. His actual name was never mentioned - for players with name display turned on, it just displayed his title - though another NPC named Eugenie Crawford referred to him as their brother, so many players assumed his last name was the same. There was also an NPC with a similar appearance with the name "Brad Crawford" displayed, but there was never any explicit confirmation of whether Brad was the Oracle or just another possible sibling (though if a player was on a quest where the next step would be to visit the Oracle, it would trigger Brad to say "I'm here for pleasure, not business.") The location a player was to go to differed from time to time, as the Oracle had multiple sanctuaries, which were completely inaccessible unless a player was on a quest to see him.
As his quests dealt with the welfare of Tellacene as a whole, he gave the appearance of being neutral in political matters, but with the quests now gone, he may be revealed to be more biased than players originally assumed.
Lore: The eldest of a wealthy family in [zone not unlocked], he came into his power in his teen years. Initially, his gift of precognition was used for his family's benefit, and then his families allies and associates, and then.... He often spoke with his youngest sibling, Eugenie, about his visions, particularly those that were far greater in scope than the petty matters most people sought him for. Eugenie was his go-between when dealing with such seekers, until he grew tired of the constant requests and left to establish himself elsewhere and focus on what he viewed as far more important matters. He came to provide warnings and advice to rulers across Tellacene, and their gratitude allowed him the resources to construct hidden sanctuaries in their lands.
