The Basics
Name: Raven
Username: QuothNevermore666
Race: Tiefling
Class: Rogue
Role: DPS
Profession: Tattoo Artist
Level: 6
The Powers
Abilities
Elemental Resistance: You treat Dark attacks as one power level lower. (Light becomes Weak, Moderate becomes Light, etc. Weak is completely negated.)
Drawback: Tieflings are largely mistrusted by NPCs. You start with -10 reputation in every zone and can only cap at 90 reputation as opposed to 100.
Class
Perk: Backstab! The first attack you land on an enemy - if it's not the first attack the enemy has received - will be treated as one power level higher.
[ALTERNATE USE] Your first blow against an enemy in combat is treated as one power level higher as long as you have not taken a hit yet from that enemy.
Whirlwind: When wielding two daggers, the Rogue can make a spinning attack with one action to deal weapon damage to up to 3 nearby enemies. This ability does not affect the tier of the weapons' damage. Cooldown - 3 rounds
Stealth: The Rogue moves silently as they attempt to avoid detection. This ability cannot be activated during combat and automatically fails against enemies, NPCs, and PCs who are at least 4 levels higher than the Rogue. Speaking, attacking, and taking damage breaks a Rogue's Stealth.
Sneak Attack: The Rogue makes a single strike against an adjacent target that they have successfully Stealthed against. The sneak attack raises the weapon's physical damage by one tier, and ends the Rogue's Stealth (and probably sets off combat if it didn't kill the target).
Tap the Vein: The Rogue targets a weak point in the target to cause heavy bleeding. After the initial damage, each round, the wound deals damage two tiers lower than the original strike as the target continues to bleed. Receiving healing of any tier will stop this bleeding. This ability does not affect undead or other opponents who do not have blood.
The Stuff
Equipped Items
1. Scarlet Kiss - [Rogue Only] This black-handled dagger has a slightly curved silver blade edged in crimson. Deals Moderate physical and Light Dark elemental damage. Not the strongest weapon, but it dropped from a succubus, so aesthetic. He will never sell this.
2. Thirsty Dagger - [Tiefling Only] This wicked-looking black dagger glows with a lurid green light and has spikes even along the grip. It deals Weak damage to its wielder each round of combat after their first successful attack as it causes them to bleed. It deals Moderate physical damage to the target on its first hit, and Moderate Physical + Weak Dark damage for every subsequent hit as its wielder's tainted blood is absorbed by the dagger. You...you might want to sell this now.
3. Shadow Armor - This suit of black leather armor offers Moderate protection against physical attacks and Dark attacks, Weak protection against most other elemental attacks, but Bright attacks against you count as one tier higher. Sucker.
Backpack
2. Magic Ink - Bright green ink from an Enchanter you ran into a while back. It doesn't have any mechanical effects when used in a tattoo, but it does glow, which will look really cool. If you get up the nerve to do it now.
3. Blank Tabbard - You were going to design a guild logo for it eventually. Right now, it's just a plain white tabbard. Maybe you can use it as a flag before the NPCs run you out with torches and pitchforks?
4. ARGLEBARGLE Ball - Looks like a frogs egg and calls out a summonable vanity pet that looks just like one of the most annoying shore-dwelling, part fish-man, part frog-thing creatures in the game. Kind of pathetic individually, but mobs can kill. You should probably not summon it to troll anyone around the river now. It might actually die. (It can't die, but it will arglebarglebargle at you constantly to express its displeasure next time it gets summoned).
5. Light Healing Potion x5 - Heals one Light wound when consumed.
6. Intelligent Raven - 75g - This raven is smarter than the average bird and can learn a limited vocabulary and perform tricks!
7. Kobold King's Shortsword - This pitted shortsword still has a mean bite and deals Strong physical damage.

Banked Items:
Dapper Top Hat Outfit - You usually just wear the hat when you get it out
Lace Gloves - Black, lacy, and elbow-length
Broody Robes - They're black and offer nothing but protection from nudity. And maybe happiness.
Leather Boots of DAMN - [Hell-o-ween Item] Black, thigh high, and create illusory flames as you walk.

Character Appearance: Raven is tall, slim, and long-legged, prone to slouching and hunching his shoulders or otherwise attempting to make himself smol when he's nervous or uncomfortable (Which, right now, is ALWAYS). When he's not nervous or uncomfortable, he still kind of slouches, but has a habit of stretching his legs out and getting them in the way. it's a problem.
His skin is pale with golden undertones, and he'd tan really well if he ever tried. And now that he's a real character in a...sort of real reality? He might find this out. His black hair is short in back, with chin-length bangs that are a bright green. His canines are long and pointed fangs, and he has a small, stunted pair of black-feathered vestigial wings that he hides under his clothing. His nails are thicker than a human's, and they're a bit pointed, though not sharp. Raven could cover all of that with a good disguise, but he's found that he also gives off a pretty smoky smell, which is a little harder to explain away. Good thing people use fireplaces for heat here.
Outside of his combat gear, his style is...um...kind of hipster meets steampunk meets Gothic Lolita meets plain goth, or at least as close as he could get it with the available clothes to spend gold on. He loves all of those styles and usually ends up mixing them up into one outfit instead of just picking one style to go with. Sometimes it looks weirdly good, and others...well, it's uniquely Raven if nothing else.
Personality: QuothNevermore666, aka Raven, because that's actually also his real name, isn't quite shy, but he is kind of awkward and unsure of himself. He doesn't always know what to say, or how to say it, and sometimes ends up just saying nothing. Or, he'll say it, and have a moment of 'omg that sounded so stupid,' even if nobody else seems to think so. He says 'um,' 'kinda,' and gives his statements a questioning inflection a lot. Though right now, it feels like everyone is talking like this because WHAT THE HELL?
He gets stressed kind of easily, too, especially when he has to make a decision under pressure. He's indecisive at the best of times, and so he much prefers someone else make the decisions, thanks. Or if he has to, using some random chance method to decide for him is preferred. As a result, he requires a bit of soothing and reassurance sometimes and likes being able to curl up and just kind of veg out for, like, ever. He also enjoys fashion (or at least his version of it), along with good beer and music. Sorry Raven. There is no TuYube in the game. Better learn to enjoy Level 50 Elite Elven Archmage a whoooole lot.
